A & R Construction is managed and owned by two close friends, Gabriel Ruiz and Enrique Altamirano

Gabriel Ruiz was born in Seattle and grew up in a family that operated a construction firm. While he was excellent in academics, the pull towards a construction career started early and he worked his way through his family business before branching out on his own with his friend. He loves to work hard and play hard. He likes to stay in shape through his work, workouts and outdoor hikes.

Enrique Altamirano was born in Mexico, but now calls Seattle his home. He had many years of varied construction experience and met Gabriel at a construction job and became close friends.  He consider himself a family man and avid soccer fan – he spends most of his spare time coaching his son in the hopes that he is going to be a professional soccer player.
